Video Distributor Caught In Teen Sex Sting
Thursday, March 4, 2004

Rob Feinstein, a video distributor who threatened Lost Colony Entertainment with legal action last month after we reported on his solicitation of an illegal movie screener, has been caught in an undercover sting by a Philadelphia television channel. The 28 year old Langhorne, Pennsylvania man was video taped by NBC affiliate WCAU visiting what he thought was the home of a 14 year old boy he had been "romancing" online. The sting, done in conjunction with an anti-pedophile website, culminated with Feinstein "making a date" with what he thought was his new underage "boyfriend." The distributor, who made headlines in February when LCE reported that he was attempting to buy a copy of the then-unreleased Bernardo Bertolucci film "Dreamers," worked with the FBI in 2003 in order to send a Virginia man to prison on charges of illegal video piracy.
