Actress

St. Claire
has issued a public statement regarding an incident this past weekend
in which she was detained by New York authorities for questioning due to a
prank call she and a friend made. The star, currently shooting
"Metal's Darkside: The Hard & The Furious" (a project which
reunites her with her CB director Richard

'Rejection Letters': The
TV Series?!
Sunday,
January 16, 2005
Shot two years ago on a shoestring budget, the short film "The
Rejection Letters of Dan Lashley" is now getting a new lease on
life. The quirky opus about "America's Most Loveable Serial
Killer" was written by the actor Dan
Lashley (who gave the killer his own name) and directed by Richard
O'Sullivan, the same team responsible for creating "Communication
Breakdown." Lost Colony Entertainment has announced that
"Rejection Letters" will now be turned into a five-part online
series, which will debut later this winter on the new "Big TV"
internet service, hosted by
Satu
Rautaharju. "Rejection Letters" features Lashley's CB
co-stars Meredith
Sause and Aleks
West.

‘Communication
Breakdown’ Producer Organizes Music Concert
Sunday,
January 16, 2005
One of the driving creative forces behind such films as festival-winner “Sinkhole”
and the upcoming "Communication
Breakdown," is now following in the footsteps of such artists as
Willie Nelson and Bob Geldolf, organizing a concert to help a cause near and
dear to her heart. Producer Linda
Jean Marlowe, who was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2004, is putting
together a Celtic music concert that will take place May 7th to benefit
numerous worthwhile charities. “We’re bringing together some of the most
talented musicians in this genre of music to raise money for education, food
banks and cancer causes,” says the filmmaker. “The idea was well received
from all of the musicians I have spoken with." Marlowe is also currently
working on a documentary about people dealing with cancer.

WUWP Boss Tosses Stones
at Glass Houses
Sunday,
January 16, 2005
Fred
Hueston, who plays the late owner of fictional radio station WUWP (“The
Big Woop”) in flashback scenes from the upcoming film "Communication
Breakdown"
(a movie he also Executive Produced), is proving that he has more in common
in real-life with the rebel DJ’s in his movie than he does with the
deviant boss he plays. Hueston, who is one of the leading experts on stone,
marble, and tile issues in the world (and the head of the largest stone
training facility on the planet), has founded a new trade organization
called the International Stone Institute, which many experts are saying is
poised to revolutionize that industry.
